Blue Leaper was the first in Leslie's line of 6-inch suspended miniature abstract figures called Aerosculpture! Seeking to come up with a series that would be more affordable to collectors, Leslie found her inspiration in the work of dance photographers such as Lois Greenfield and Greg Barrett. Blue Leaper is fully sculpted of polymer clay and painted with metallic enamel paint.
